Program Coordinator's Role in Your Care

For all new and existing patients, the first point of contact will be our program coordinator, who serves essentially as a concierge for your care. This role is one of the key features that distinguishes our program and makes it stand out from others. The program coordinator facilitates coordination and assists with non-clinical questions, ensuring that you receive personalized support throughout your experience.

Before your visit

Our program coordinator assists in triaging care with our medical team, ensuring that the plan of care is clearly communicated to both patients and their families. Additionally, our program coordinator answers questions, mediates between you and the medical team, and offers hands-on support with any necessary paperwork. For patients traveling from out of state, the program coordinator also provides valuable resources for lodging to help make your visit as seamless and comfortable as possible

During your visits

During your visits, the Program Coordinator is available to assist with navigating the campus and addressing any needs that may arise. For coordinated care and multidisciplinary visits, she ensures that you reach your appointments on time and that the clinic runs smoothly.

After your visit

If additional referrals to CHOP or Penn specialists are needed after your visit, the Program Coordinator will connect with the respective teams to facilitate a seamless scheduling process for our Williams Syndrome patients.
