Fun Fact: I have visited more than half the states in the United States and as a track and field athlete I competed in 18 of them! My first time out of the country was for my first conference as a PhD student where we went to Denmark.
Research Interests
I am interested in investigating how metabolic conditions, such as Prediabetes and Diabetes, influence Achilles tendon health in those with and without Achilles tendon injury. Understanding these differences in tendon health will provide insight into the etiology and treatment and help guide future clinical care.
