Research Interests
My research interests are driven by the desire to keep individuals active and achieving their physical activity goals. My research experiences have included quantifying strength in the upper and lower extremities, return to sport testing in the upper and lower extremities and evaluating injury profiles in young runners.
Fun Fact: I have two young kids, ages 3 and 6, that keep her very busy!
Publications
In 2017, Brittany and colleagues published an article that highlighted the best alternatives to evaluating quadriceps strength in settings where the gold standard of measurement was not available. This reduces barriers to quantify someone’s quadriceps strength, which is predictive of function and the ability to return to prior levels of activity following injury.
