Mission

Our laboratory in Stellar Chance Laboratories shares the land previously occupied by the old Philadelphia General Hospital.  Drawing from the dedication of PGH, the Translational Neuropathology Research Laboratory is dedicated to

• the preservation and restoration of brain health
• the increase of knowledge concerning the cause and cure of neurodegenerative diseases
• the education of those would serve humanity

This mission is central to all the activities within our laboratory.  Science is fascinating in its purest and most basic forms – but to translate it into human benefit serves both our individual quest for knowledge and humanity’s struggle for meaningful life.
