B.S. 2018, Drexel University (Biomedical Engineering)
Bio:
Paul is a 1st-year Ph.D. Student at the University of Pennsylvania in the Department of Bioengineering. He graduated from Drexel University in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering. He then worked as a post-baccalaureate student at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota focusing on RF-induced tissue heating caused by orthopedic implants at 7T. Paul joined the Center for Advanced Metabolic Imaging in Precision Medicine (CAMIPM) in August of 2021 under the supervision of Ravinder Reddy, Ph.D. His research focuses on developing methods to correct for B1 inhomogeneity and using chemical exchange saturation transfer (CEST) to investigate brain metabolism.
