My role as an associate director includes leading the administrative and fiscal operations for the Center for Advanced Metabolic Imaging in Precision Medicine (CAMIPM).    I oversee existing project activities, support the implementation of new projects, monitor progress and timelines, and help plan and coordinate the center’s dissemination initiatives.  The latter includes the design and maintenance of the center’s website and co-planning the CAMIPM workshop and monthly seminar series.   Other responsibilities include overseeing IRB and IACUC approval processes, planning and coordinating advisory board meetings, preparing material for interim reports, yearly NIH reports, and addressing problems as they arise.  My fiscal responsibilities include reviewing and submitting sponsored program proposals and contracts, providing financial feedback to the PI, communicating directly with federal program officials and industry sponsors and interfacing with various departments and core personnel within the University and outside.
