Please note the NIH No Cost Extension update shared on Wednesday by Missy Peloso (below). Because NCE requests require more information and need additional time for review, please submit as early as possible to avoid interruption of your project. Please discuss the process with your departmental business/grant administrator or reach out to ORS for any questions.

The NIH has issued notice that the No Cost Extension functionality in the eRA Commons has been disabled. Requests for no cost extensions must be submitted as prior approval requests. Requests will be reviewed to confirm that the proposed activities for the extension period align with the NIH mission and agency priorities.
