Research Interests
Tissue regeneration remains one of the greatest unsolved challenges in biology and medicine. Our research seeks to uncover the fundamental mechanisms that govern stem cell identity, tissue homeostasis, and regenerative repair, using skeletal and cardiac muscle as powerful model systems to reveal biological principles that extend across regenerative medicine. We believe that understanding how nature builds, maintains, and repairs tissues will ultimately transform the way degenerative diseases are treated.

Non-science activities
Outside the laboratory, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, practicing yoga, gardening, and cooking. These experiences continually remind me that growth, adaptation, and resilience are fundamental principles shared by both nature and science.
