Amy Keresztes, MSW, LCSW, Psychotherapist
Amy Keresztes (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She earned her MSW in clinical social work in 2016 from Simmons University in Boston after training at the Cambridge Health Alliance Victims of Violence Program for trauma treatment and recovery. She has provided individual and group therapy to people involved in legal and other state systems, and has treated people experiencing depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, psychosis, personality disorders, and substance use. Her style of practice is client-centered and trauma-informed. She draws on a wide range of modalities, including psychodynamic psychotherapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. She believes it is important to incorporate clients’ cultural, spiritual, and creative practices into the therapeutic process. Prior to coming to Penn Medicine, Amy was a therapist at a specialty clinic for young adults at the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health.
