Kandice Witherspoon, LPC, Psychotherapist

Kandice Witherspoon, M.S., M.A., is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania and New Jersey with over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, older adults, and families in hospital, community mental health, outpatient, and private practice settings. She specializes in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, stress management, and the emotional challenges associated with chronic health conditions, including Parkinson's disease.
Kandice's approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and incorporates Motivational Interviewing, Behavioral Activation, and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). Clients describe her as warm, compassionate, empathetic, and nonjudgmental. She believes therapy is a collaborative partnership and tailors' treatment to each client's unique goals, needs, and strengths.
