Chris Chianese, MSN, CRNP, PMHNP-BC, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Chris Chianese is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Penn Medicine. He earned his MSN at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing in 2024. Prior to this, Chris worked as a clinical research nurse at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine in the HIV prevention research division. Here, he worked on clinical trials exploring the safety and efficacy of numerous biomedical interventions for the prevention of HIV, Covid-19, and other infectious diseases. Prior to becoming a nurse, Chris was the project director of biomedical research at Fenway Health located in Boston, Massachusetts. His clinical focus is primarily in psychopharmacologic treatment of mood and anxiety disorders as well as regular collaboration with providers of psychotherapy. Chris has additional interests in sexual health, LGBTQ+ health, and addressing health care disparities amongst underserved populations.
