Linnae Homza, LPC, Psychotherapist

Linnae Homza, LPC (she/her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor who graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2017 with a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling. Since becoming licensed in 2020, she has gained extensive experience in treating complex mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma, PTSD, and personality disorders. Her professional journey began at The Light Program's Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), where she discovered her passion for group therapy with adult populations.

Linnae has progressively advanced into leadership roles, serving as a Lead Therapist in the Northeast Philadelphia PHP, where she was instrumental in developing and expanding the program. Most recently, Linnae served as a Clinical Supervisor and Outpatient Clinician at High Focus Centers in Radnor.

Utilizing a multifaceted therapeutic approach, Linnae integrates cognitive, affective, behavioral, and systemic interventions, such as CBT, DBT, and ACT. Her strongest therapeutic interest and passion lies in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) techniques, focusing on teaching mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, distress tolerance, and emotion regulation skills. Her ultimate goal is to help individuals improve their relationships and behaviors, resolve trauma, develop self-acceptance, and create a life worth living.
