Chen Yu, Ph.D
Chen Yu earned her Bachelor's degree in Biological Science from Nanjing University in 2016, where she studied foundation of biology. Driven by a growing interest in molecular and cell biology, she pursued a Master's degree at the University of Southern California. In 2019, she continued her study at the University of Rochester investigating the role of energy metabolism in bone marrow stromal cell fate determination and received her PhD in 2025. In July 2025, she joined the Schipani lab as a postdoctoral fellow. Outside the lab, she loves ice skating and traveling, especially exploring a new city and trying new foods.
