Areas of Special Interest
Meira is currently working with Alice on cartilage tissue engineering. She is examining the anti-inflammatory role of MSC's on MSC- and chondrocyte-laden engineered constructs, as well as investigating genes that are missing or impeding MSC's of reaching full chondrogenic potential.
Meira is also an avid football fan. On the weekends she can be found at the Linc cheering on the Eagles or at home doing the FSU war chant.
