Member Benefits
Full Member
Full-time faculty members of the University of Pennsylvania (tenure track, research track, clinician-educator track, academic clinician track) participating in research, education and/or clinical care related to musculoskeletal research are eligible for this membership category.
The benefits of membership include:
- Inclusion in the community of musculoskeletal researchers at Penn
- Use of PCMD Research Cores at reduced rates due to subsidized funding and/or access to Core seed funds
- Eligibility to apply for PCMD Pilot and Feasibility Grants
- Participation in the activities of PCMD (visiting professorship series, annual scientific symposium, workshops, etc)
- Listing on the PCMD Membership web page, receipt of PCMD newsletter, and addition to e-mail distribution list
- Access to e-mail List-serve for seeking guidance or collaborative opportunities
- Opportunities to collaborate on research activities
- Use of Center association in grant applications when it is advantageous to do so
Associate Member
Research staff, trainees, graduate students, fellows, postdoctoral researchers interested in musculoskeletal related research and educational programs of the PCMD are eligible for this membership.

- Use of PCMD Research Cores at reduced rates due to subsidized funding and / or access to Core seed funds
- Participation in the activities of PCMD (visiting professorship series, annual scientific symposium, workshops, etc)

Affiliate Member
Faculty members outside of the University of Pennsylvania, but located in Philadelphia or the surrounding area, or faculty members who have an affiliated appointment with the University of Pennsylvania (not included in the Full Member category above such as an adjunct appointment) are eligible for this membership.
