Penn Center for Musculoskeletal Disorders

2023 Annual Symposium

SYMPOSIUM BOOKLET

The 19th Annual Penn Center for Musculoskeletal Disorders Scientific Symposium/Retreat will be on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 in the Smilow Center for Translational Research, Rubenstein auditorium and commons with registration/poster setup starting at 8:15am, a scientific program starting at 9:20am and ending with a reception, all to be completed by ~6:00pm.

This year’s keynote speaker will be Charles Washabaugh, Ph.D., Orthopaedics Research Program Director at the National Institutes of Health.  In addition to our Keynote Speaker, there will be several other oral and poster presentations from the Penn community. In addition to excellent science, we will be discussing potential research collaborations and opportunities including funding availability through our research cores.

As we did in previous year's, we are also soliciting abstracts that you would be willing to have us include in our symposium book, even without a poster. Please also note whether your abstract/poster falls into one of the areas of our research cores (Biomechanics, MicroCT, Histology or the category "Miscellaneous" - poster prizes will be available in each of these areas).  Please bring the accompanying poster to the retreat for display (poster boards will be provided).
