Research Assistant

Karis Treadwell, B.A.

Karis Treadwell B.A., is a Psychology Technician at the Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety. Karis received her Bachelors of Arts Degree in Psychology at Bowdoin College. In college, she researched the relationship between sociocultural attitudes and mental health stigma, exploring empathy and controllability attributions in a novel mediational model. Karis is currently working as a Research Assistant on the PEACE (Prolonged Exposure to Address Community ViolencE) Project at the CTSA. Her research interests include optimizing treatment for anxiety disorders and modifying interventions to reduce health disparities for marginalized groups.
