Size-Exclusion Chromatography inline with Multiangle Light Scattering

SEC-MALS combines multi-angle light scattering with size-exclusion chromatography. It is a powerful technique for absolute characterization of macromolecules in terms of:

  • Molar mass
  • Size
  • Conformation
  • Conjugation ratio

  • Size-Exclusion Chromatography in-line with multiangle light scattering (SEC-MALS).  A standard HPLC assembly with a Wyatt Technology DAWN HELEOS II 18-angle light scattering instrument in-line with Wyatt Technology tREX refractive interferometer.  The instrument is operated by a dedicated computer for data collection and analysis.

The following columns are available for separations on this system:

  • Superose 6 10/300
  • Superdex 200 5/100
  • Superdex 200 10/300
  • Superdex 75 10/300
  • Superdex Peptide 10/300
