  • Direct Measurement
    • Questions should reflect individual's confidence that they are capable of performing the behavior
    • Assess self-efficacy and controllability of behavior
      • Self-efficacy
        • How difficult it is to perform the behavior
        • How confident an individual is that they could do it
          • I am confident that I could perform X behavior

          For me to perform X behavior is

      • Controllability
        • Whether performing the behavior is up to them
        • Whether factors beyond their control determine their behavior
